NYC Sun 'n' Bronze highlighter and bronzer- Review!

Yesterday as I was roaming Rite Aid looking for the new Maybelline Color Tattoos, I ran across new products from NYC. I have never been a fan of NYC and was never "wowed" by their products. But, their new bronzer and highlighter caught my eye; so I picked it up. They were both $4.99 but NYC was having a sale buy one, get one 50% off.

I actually picked up the highlighter in "712 Heat Wave" (on the left) and bronzing powder "710 Sunsational." (on the right) I believe that this was the only highlighter that they offered but they did have other bronzer shades and the one I picked up was the lightest of them all.

Both of these products are extremely soft and feel amazing. And in my opinion, they do have pretty good pigmentation.

As for the highlighter, I think it is beautiful and I think it could work as a highlight on any part of your face whether it's on your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose or under the brow.   The highlighter does have a TON of shimmer in it, gold shimmer, but it would compliment any skin tone and look amazing (especially on tan skin).

As for the bronzer, I think it is way to shimmery to use all over your face or as a contour. It would actually be a stunning highlighter! The bronzer also has gold shimmer in it like the highlighter but with all the colors mixed in the pan it gives a different sheen and highlight that would look beautifully on the skin.

Here is a photo of the highlighter and bronzer swatched.
